Competition Format & Structure

  • Schedule: Rounds to be played fortnightly, beginning Sunday, 1st November 2026.

  • Home/Away Advantage: Home player gains the venue advantage

  • Break Choice: The break is decided by a lag for each match

  • Neutral Venues: From the Semi-Finals onwards, a suitable neutral venue will be allocated by the Competition Secretary

Match Formats

  • Knockout Stages: Race to 3 frames

  • Semi-Finals: Race to 4 frames

  • Finals: Race to 5 frames

Entry Criteria

Entry Criteria & Conditions

  • Age Requirement: Must be over 50 on the date of registration.

  • Membership: All players must be registered MPL members.

  • Venue Notice: Must advise Lewis Ditchfield of your preferred home venue.

  • Closing Date: Entries close on 18th October 2026.
